News from today’s Apple Event

In case you missed it, Mashable has a nice round-up of everything that Apple announced today, including: the new 4-inch iPhone SE, a smaller 9.7-inch iPad Pro, a $100 price cut for the iPad Air 2, public release of iOS 9.3 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, and a $50 price cut for the Apple Watch – along with some pretty new watch bands.

I’ve been running the iOS 9.3 beta on both my iPhone 6s and my iPad mini 4 for a few months and it’s been pretty solid for me. The new Night Shift feature is really very helpful in terms of my late-night iPad activity since I typically use the iPad to  catch up on news and play a few Words With Friends games when I get into bed. Reducing the “blue light” helps me fall asleep faster when I want to instead of keeping me awake when I least want it to.

You can also catch the entire web stream of the event on Apple’s website if you want to see Tim Cook’s sweater for yourself 🙂
